Bus

The closest bus stops are on Magdalen Street, across the road from the Museum. The City 2, City 6, Park and Ride 300 (Pear Tree) and Park and Ride 500 (Oxford Parkway) all stop here. 
The Ashmolean is only a few minutes walk from other central bus stops.

You can travel all over Oxfordshire with one ticket. 

Train

It’s a 5-10 minute direct walk from Oxford Train Station. Or you can take the S3 bus from the station directly to Magdalen Street (stop C4, outside the Museum), which runs every 30 mins.
 

Car / Parking

There is limited metered on-street parking at the front of the Museum (Beaumont street) & the side of the Museum (St Giles') - including Blue Badge bays. There are also car parks within walking distance, the closest being Gloucester Green and Worcester Street. However we would advise against driving into Oxford, if possible. 
 

Taxis

Uber, 001 and Royal Cars all operate in Oxford. The closest Black Cab Rank is outside the Museum in St Giles' or across the road in Gloucester Green.

Please note: Botley Road is closed to vehicles. Buses, including Botley Road Park & Ride, stop at the station bridge for passengers to continue by foot.
